Journalism
Journalists are the backbone of the people. We speak for those who can’t.
Journalism is the voice of the people. I believe that it is integral to all parts of our lives. Sports journalism, while not typically on the same importance as politics or news, is my personal favorite part of what makes journalism what it is. It can be fun, light-hearted, yet serious and socially altering all in the same day.
Franchise stories are some of my favorite to write. I think they are the most impactful parts of sports journalism as they can show off not just the people in the sports, but actions and events that can change the world. Some of those examples do blur the lines of sports and news and leave a lasting impact on everything. I also do love a good feature and game story that really make me feel like I know the player or was at the game. Below are some of my best and favorite stories I've written.
