Broadcasting

Play-by-play Broadcasters. We paint pictures of the biggest moments with just our voice.

Broadcasting was always my first love. Growing up listening to sports broadcasts as a kid was pure magic to me. Listening to the likes of Mike "Doc" Emrick, Rick Jeanneret, Gary Thorne, Al Michaels, Jim Nantz and so many other greats will leave an impression on you, especially if your a young kid trying to figure out what he enjoys. Sports were my thing and by listening and watching, something clicked when I got a little older. I wanted to be on TV doing what these greats did, make people feel the magic I did as a kid. I got the opportunity to start doing play-by-play for real in high school even though I had been doing it in front of a muted TV for a few years already. After that first chance, I was hooked and I still am to this day. I've called games for many sports but hockey has always been the one for me. It's the first one I watched growing up, first one I called, and the one that has gotten me where I am today.
I've been a broadcaster for 9 years now and it has been my biggest passion for even longer. It's a world to itself in my mind. Broadcasters are a group that is a bit different since we see the games we call from perspectives that others don't. A magic one, if you will. Below is my reel of my recent clips and some of my favorites.
